Notes: El Campo (6-1, 2-0) and Bay City (1-7, 0-3) meet
for the 104th time in the state's oldest and longest continuous rivalry. The
rivalry began in 1911 and has been played annually since 1920. El Campo leads
the series 52-43-8 and has won the last three games. Bay City's last win over El Campo was a 28-21
victory in 2005. El Campo's Landon Appling has rushed for 787 yards and 13
touchdowns.

DISTRICT 30-4A

Last year's score: Calhoun, 35-22.
Notes: Calhoun (6-3, 4-1) plays
Miller (1-7, 0-4) looking to bounce back from last week's loss to Beeville and
clinch a share of the district championship. Calhoun will have a bye next week
before entering the playoffs. Calhoun has won 16 consecutive games at Sandcrab Stadium. Calhoun owns a 2-1 advantage over Miller
since the teams became district opponents. Calhoun has scored a total of 273
points this season, while Miller has scored a total of 65 points and has scored
more than one touchdown in two games. Calhoun's Brandon Sanders has rushed for
936 yards and 16 touchdowns, and Michael Mullins has rushed for 758 yards and
eight touchdowns.

DISTRICT 26-3A

Last year's score: Wharton, 23-21.
Notes: Wharton (1-6, 1-2) travels to
West Columbia to play Columbia (1-6, 0-3) after putting an end to a nine-game
losing streak with a win over Stafford last week. Wharton limited Stafford to nine points, the first time this season it
has held an opponent under 20. Wharton has struggled on offense, scoring a
total of 90 points and not more than 18 in any game. Columbia's lone win this season came against
Houston Kashmere.
DISTRICT 28-3A
Time: 7:30 p.m.
Last year's score: Goliad, 35-20.
Notes: Goliad (1-7, 1-2) and Edna
(6-1, 3-0) have met seven times since 1994 and Goliad holds a 4-3 edge during
that span. Edna would clinch a playoff berth and the likely top seed in
Division II with a win. Edna has captured district wins over Gonzales, Yoakum
and Palacios. Goliad lost to Palacios, defeated Gonzales and lost to Cuero.
Goliad's Tyler Althof has passed for 1,109 yards and
10 touchdowns, and Billy Sippel has 24 receptions for
256 yards and one touchdown. Edna's Kam Jones has
passed for 973 yards and six touchdowns, and Ervin Yates has rushed for 903
yards and 13 touchdowns.

Last year's score: Yoakum, 42-10.
Notes: Palacios (3-5, 1-2) and Yoakum
(3-5, 1-2) attempt to take a step toward the playoffs. Palacios could clinch a
postseason spot with a win and losses by Goliad and Gonzales. Yoakum would
clinch a playoff berth with wins over Palacios and Goliad. Yoakum has scored a
total of 103 points in its three district games, while Palacios has scored 31.
Palacios' Nathan Loff has rushed for 721 yards and
four touchdowns. Yoakum's Trey Hights has rushed for
1,076 yards and 18 touchdowns.

Last year's score: Cuero, 62-0.
Notes: Cuero (8-0, 3-0) and Gonzales
(1-7, 0-3) play for the 12th straight season. Cuero holds an 8-3 edge during
that span and has won the last six meetings. Cuero is ranked No. 4 in the state
poll and has already clinched a playoff berth. Cuero has won 31 consecutive
district games under coach Mark Reeve. Cuero has
scored a total of 115 points in its three district wins, and Gonzales has
yielded a total of 148 points in its three district losses. Cuero's Tyler Arndt
has passed for a district-leading 1,292 yards and 18 touchdowns, and Trent
Jackson has rushed for a district-leading 1,270 yards and 15 touchdowns.
Gonzales' Kieran Johnson has passed for 1,237 yards and 10 touchdowns, and Ckody Burton has a district-leading 39 receptions for 701
yards and five touchdowns.

DISTRICT 26-2A

Last year's score: Rice Consolidated,
20-6.
Notes: Rice Consolidated (6-1, 4-0)
and Hempstead (6-2, 4-0) battle for the
outright district lead. Rice Consolidated has won 13 consecutive district games
and is ranked No. 10 in the state poll. Rice Consolidated will be without
quarterback Myles Dumont, who has a sprained medial collateral ligament. Mario
Hull moved from wide receiver, where he has 37 catches for 863 yards and eight
touchdowns, to quarterback in last week's win over Schulenburg. Hempstead's Ronald Turner has rushed for a
district-leading 1,109 yards and seven touchdowns.
Time: 7:30 p.m.
Last year's score: Schulenburg,
41-14.
Notes: Weimar (7-1, 3-1) and Schulenburg (4-5, 2-3)
play for the 68th time. Schulenburg leads the series 43-23-1 and has won the
last five meetings. Weimar
would clinch its first playoff berth since 2004 with a win. Schulenburg needs a
win in its final regular season game to keep its slim postseason hopes alive. Weimar is coming off its
bye week. Weimar's
Brixx Hawthorne has passed for 1,195 yards and 13
touchdowns, and Lynx Hawthorne has 32 receptions for 678 yards and seven
touchdowns. Schulenburg's Kyle Bludau has passed for 1,214 yards and eight
touchdowns, and Kacy Mayberry and David Houston have
combined for 55 receptions for 786 yards and seven touchdowns.

Notes: Hallettsville (1-7, 1-3)
travels to Wallis to play Brazos Consolidated (2-6, 0-4) looking to keep its
slim playoff hopes alive. Hallettsville needs a combination of events to take
place to qualify for the postseason, including Weimar
losing its final two games against Schulenburg and Hempstead.
Brazos Consolidated has lost five straight games since defeating Palacios.

DISTRICT 28-2A

Notes: Karnes City
(7-1, 3-0) ended a nine-game losing streak against Poth
(3-5, 2-1) last season and would clinch a playoff berth with a win. Karnes City
has outscored its district opponents by a total of 137-24. Poth's
lone district loss was a 29-28 setback to Navarro. Karnes City's
Clayton Labus has passed for 798 yards and seven
touchdowns, and Jerome Hopkins, Jeremy Purser and Zach Dunlop have combined to
rush for 1,349 yards and 23 touchdowns.

Notes: Nixon-Smiley (1-7, 0-3) and Kenedy (2-6, 0-3) go after their first district wins.
Nixon-Smiley has won five straight over Kenedy. Kenedy has lost 20 consecutive district games. Kenedy has lost six straight since defeating Charlotte and Pettus. Nixon-Smiley's lone win came over Woodsboro. Kenedy's Rhett Bell has passed for 1,065 yards and seven
touchdowns, and Jake Havron has an area-leading 45
catches for 480 yards and three touchdowns.
DISTRICT 29-2A
Time: 7:30 p.m.
Last year's score: Industrial, 42-35.
Notes: Industrial (7-1, 3-0) and
Hitchcock (3-3, 3-0) square off for the outright district lead for the second
consecutive season. Industrial has outscored its district opponents by a
combined 100-27, and Hitchcock has a combined 106-58 edge over its district
opponents. Industrial has allowed more than two touchdowns in only one game,
its loss to Refugio. Industrial's Blaine Rozner and
Austin Smalley have combined to rush for 1,291 yards and 12 touchdowns.

Last year's score: Boling, 49-45.
Notes: Boling (4-4, 2-1) defeated Van
Vleck (1-7, 0-3) last season for its only district
win. Boling would clinch a playoff berth with a win over Van Vleck this season. Van Vleck has
lost nine straight district games. Van Vleck has
yielded at least three touchdowns in every game except its win over Bloomington. Boling has
scored four touchdowns in in six of its eight games.

Last year's score: Tidehaven, 33-14.
Notes: Tidehaven
(2-6, 0-3) and Danbury
(1-7, 1-2) play for the sixth consecutive season. Tidehaven
has won four of the previous five meetings. Tidehaven
has lost four straight since defeating Bloomington.
Danbury snapped
a nine-game losing streak with its win over Van Vleck
last week. Tidehaven's Sean Dannels
has passed for 1,174 yards and nine touchdowns, Ian Wade has 43 catches for 370
yards and two touchdowns, and Colt Clontz has 39
catches for 399 yards and three touchdowns.
DISTRICT 30-2A
Time: 7:30 p.m.
Last year's score: Refugio, 42-7.
Notes: Refugio (8-0, 3-0) and
Skidmore-Tynan (4-4, 1-2) play for the 17th time.
Refugio owns a 16-1 edge in the series. Refugio is ranked No. 6 in the state
poll. Refugio has won 29 consecutive regular-season games and would clinch a
share of the district title with a win. Refugio has scored a total of 134
points in its three district wins. Refugio's Kyle Hendley
has passed for 1,244 yards and seven touchdowns, and Jourdan
Ortiz has 42 receptions for 725 yards and three touchdowns.

Last year's score: Banquete, 42-14.
Notes: Bloomington (1-7, 0-3) plays Banquete (6-2, 2-1) in its final road game of the season. Bloomington has lost four
straight since defeating Runge and is trying to end a
35-game district losing streak. Banquete has won two
straight since opening district with a loss to Refugio and could clinch a
playoff berth with a win and a Taft win over Odem. Bloomington's Ryan De Los Santos has passed
for 716 yards and four touchdowns and rushed for 663 yards and five touchdowns.
DISTRICT 27-1A
Time: 7:30 p.m.
Last year's score: Louise, 27-7.
Notes: Ganado (5-3, 2-1) and Louise
(2-6, 1-2) meet in the "Battle of Mustang Creek." Louise snapped a
10-game losing streak against Ganado with its win last season. Louise's six
losses have been by a total of 27 points. Ganado would clinch a playoff berth
with a win. Louise needs a win over Ganado to remain in playoff contention.
Ganado's Josh Labay has rushed for 1,230 yards and 12
touchdowns. Louise's Desmond Pulliam has rushed for 717 yards and 10
touchdowns.

Last year's score: Shiner, 51-0.
Notes: Shiner (7-1, 3-0) has won 13
of its last 15 games against Flatonia (2-6, 0-3). Shiner would clinch a share
of the district championship with a win. Shiner has won seven straight since
opening the season with an overtime loss to Schulenburg. Shiner has scored four
touchdowns or more in seven games and yielded two touchdowns or less in six
games. Shiner's Curtis Shields, Josh Greathouse and
Drew Stafford have combined to rush for 1,725 yards and 27 touchdowns.
Flatonia's Alex Hernandez has rushed for 897 yards and six touchdowns.

DISTRICT 31-1A

Notes: Falls City
(8-0, 3-0) and Woodsboro (5-3, 3-0) face off for the outright district lead. Falls City
has won 12 straight games against Woodsboro, including five straight district
games. Falls City is ranked No. 8 in the state poll.
A win would allow Woodsboro to finish the regular season with a winning record
for the first time since 2003. Falls
City's Colin Dziuk, Will Kirchhoff and Nick Lyssy
have combined to rush for 2,110 yards and 34 touchdowns. Woodsboro's Ronnie
Martinez has rushed for a district-leading 805 yards and 10 touchdowns.

31-7.
Notes: Yorktown (7-1, 2-1) would
clinch a playoff berth with a win over Charlotte
(1-6, 0-3). Yorktown won its five non-district
games by a combined 20 points and its two district wins have been by a combined
62 points. Charlotte's
lone win came over Leakey. Yorktown's Erin Barefield has passed for a district-leading 1,202 yards and
14 touchdowns, and Jayden Barefield has 37 catches
for 734 yards and nine touchdowns.

Last year's score: Pettus, 55-0.
Notes: Pettus
(2-6, 0-3) meets Runge (3-5, 1-2) seeking its first district win. Runge
needs a win to avoid finishing with a losing record for the fifth consecutive
season. Pettus has been outscored 87-7 in district
play. Runge's Ryan Perez has passed for 1,117 yards
and 12 touchdowns.
TAPPS DIVISION IV, DISTRICT 3
Time: 7:30 p.m.
Last year's score: Sacred Heart,
58-0.
Notes: Sacred Heart (5-4, 2-0) plays
St. Gerard (0-8, 0-2) seeking its 13th straight district win. Sacred Heart has
won three straight while limiting its opponents to a total of 20 points. Sacred
Heart's Trenton Pilat has rushed for an area-leading
1,347 yards and 19 touchdowns and scored an area-leading 118 points.
Time: 7:30 p.m.
Last year's score: St. Paul, 40-14.
Notes: St. Paul (6-2, 2-0) plays Brazos Christian
(5-3, 2-1) coming off its bye week. St.
Paul has won five straight games since losing to
Austin Regents. Brazos Christian's lone district loss was to Hallettsville
Sacred Heart. A St. Paul win would set up
a likely showdown with Sacred Heart for the district title next week in
Hallettsville. St. Paul's
Adam Hollenbach has rushed for 1,046 yards and 19
touchdowns and has scored 116 points.
